<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Credit Analyst to join our finance team. This role is critical in evaluating the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, managing credit risk, and supporting cash flow initiatives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will balance strong financial acumen with excellent communication skills to work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and customer service teams.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Evaluate credit applications by analyzing customer financial statements, credit reports, payment history, and industry data </li><li>Recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms in line with company policies and risk appetite </li><li>Monitor existing customer accounts for changes in financial status or payment behavior </li><li>Collaborate with collections and AR teams to address overdue accounts and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) </li><li>Prepare risk assessments and periodic reports on high-risk accounts or trends in receivables </li><li>Assist with order release decisions based on customer credit status and open balances </li><li>Support the collections team as needed </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit files and documentation </li><li>Support process improvements and compliance with internal controls and company credit policy </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of credit analysis or AR experience (manufacturing/distribution industry preferred) </li><li>Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk principles </li><li>Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred) </li><li>Familiarity with business credit bureaus (e.g., Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business) </li><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills </li><li>Excellent communication and negotiation skills </li></ul>
