Your role includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical and software issues, and ensuring efficient product flow. You will also support cycle time reduction by addressing tool inefficiencies, verifying lot processing, and analyzing workstation performance to drive continuous improvement.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Finishes the required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with safety policies </li><li>Identifies chronic area inefficiencies and works on resolving them through CIP, area suggestion or training </li><li>Reviews Prod/Dev hold lots and prioritizes, resolved and escalates as necessary </li><li>Stand for up to 10 hours per shift?and?walk intermittently (1-5 miles per shift)?to fulfill job requirements. </li><li>Apply skills in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel) to efficiently complete tasks. </li><li>Performs technical tests and experiments for the process of R&D (Research & Development) engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. </li><li>Perform and set up semiconductor processing equipment. monitors, audits and provide guidance to line operators. </li><li>Processes test runs and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products. </li><li>Provides technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel. </li><li>Communicate effectively?in both written and verbal forms to ensure clear and concise information exchange. </li><li>Manage time and prioritize tasks?efficiently to meet deadlines and organizational goals. </li><li>Follow basic procedures?and work independently with minimal supervision to maintain productivity and quality standards. </li><li>Follow basic procedures?and?work independently with minimal direction?to maintain productivity and quality standards. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Ability to work 12-hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off and 4 days on/3 days off), progress between day and night shifts every 4 months, and adapt to different shifts and overtime as needed to support business operations. </li><li>Must be capable of regularly lifting 25-40 pounds, which constitutes approximately 10% of the job duties. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>AAS or AS Degree and / or STEM related degree; or equivalent military training and experience (or equivalent trade school/military experience) </li><li>1 year experience using SPC software (e.g., Minitab, JMP). </li><li>2+ years of industry experience; or equivalent military training and experience </li><li>2+ year experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements. </li></ul> <p>As a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
