<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The Dishwasher washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment. This role maintains a clean and organized work area. Must be available to work weekends, nights and holidays</p> <p>ESSSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Washes dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using a dishwasher or by hand </li><li>Keeps dishwasher clean and immediately reports any functional or mechanical problems to a Manager </li><li>Monitors dishwasher water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle </li><li>Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition </li><li>Places clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas </li><li>Maintains adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies </li><li>Sorts and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas </li><li>Sweeps or scrubs floors </li><li>Stocks supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars. </li><li>Cleans food preparation and production areas </li><li>Receives and stores supplies </li><li>Properly rotate product as instructed to ensure food safety and freshness. </li><li>Cleans garbage cans </li><li>Transfers supplies or equipment between storage and work areas </li><li>Handles tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss </li><li>Coordinates with and assists fellow employees to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurant </li><li>Fills in for fellow employees where needed to ensure guest service standards and efficient operations </li></ul> <p>SECONDARY DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Prepares and packages individual place settings </li><li>Loads or unloads trucks that deliver or pick up food or supplies </li><li>Sets up banquet tables </li><li>Assists with kitchen prep work </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:</p> <p>High School Diploma with 2 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience</p> <p>COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety procedures and requirements </li><li>Fluent in the English language both verbally and non-verbally. </li></ul> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul>
