Actual job responsibilities, levels, and locations will vary based on actual hiring job postings. </li></ul> <p>What does this role look like?</p> <ul> <li>Configuration and management of Juniper and Cisco switches and routers, firewalls, and support to system administration team in deployment at new sites. </li><li>Support the design, build, test, and troubleshoot computer systems. </li><li>Network and System Administration. </li><li>Workstation and server configuration. </li><li>Maintenance and troubleshooting. </li><li>Working with the System Administrator, Hardware, and Software teams to maintain/update system. </li><li>Install/build rack mounted systems. </li><li>Work is expected to be nearly 100% On site with very limited telework opportunities. </li></ul> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Current TS/SCI Security clearance </li><li>Current CompTIA Security+ certification or the ability to obtain within six months </li><li>Hands-on experience designing, deploying and managing LAN and WAN networks </li><li>Experience with Linux/RHEL </li></ul> <p>Desired Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in SPACE Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Systems </li><li>Sound knowledge of network architecture, topologies, engineering, design, implementation, and testing </li><li>Familiarity with communication products including router, switches, firewalls, Domain Name Servers (DNS) and data encryption products. </li><li>Certifications in the industry vendors Juniper/Cisco </li><li>Understanding of standard DoD security practices such as, STIG/RMF compliance and system accreditation implementation efforts </li><li>Experience with monitoring, network diagnostic, and network analytic tools </li><li>Network and Linux/RHEL automation utilizing Ansible </li></ul> <p>Virtualization utilizing VMWare</p> <ul> <li>Document existing and new network architectures using Visio </li><li>Experience with Agile environments </li></ul> <p>Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.</p> <p>Clearance Level: TS/SCI</p> <p>Other Important Information You Should Know</p> <p>Expression of Interest: By applying to this job, you are expressing interest in this position and could be considered for other career opportunities where similar skills and requirements have been identified as a match. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
