<p>Overview</p> <p>The Safety Intern will report to the Safety Director, providing EHS support to Metalcraft of Mayville manufacturing operations at our Mayville location.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Work with safety coordinators on individual safety topics as well as assist with training Shop Leaders in development of programs and engagement of all employees. </li><li>Assist in reviewing and updating safety policies and procedures </li><li>OSHA record keeping associated with recordable injuries. </li><li>Participates in incident investigations and reviews and supports the preparation of relevant documentation using root cause methodologies. </li><li>Compile and maintain safety statistics, analyze incident data for trends and prepare advisory or alert communications. </li><li>Implementation and documentation of EH&S required training. </li><li>Offers innovative solutions to solve difficult issues and leads employees and contractors to work in a safe team environment. </li><li>Participates and/or Lead 6S Teams in developing, improving, and executing programs that align with the companies Key Performance Indicators. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Enrolled in a program related to Safety </li><li>Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint </li><li>Knowledgeable with applicable safety regulations </li><li>Excellent internal and external Customer Service Skills </li><li>Problem solving skills </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills </li></ul> <p>PM17</p> <p>Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Minorities, Women, Veterans, Disabilities</p>
