<p>Registration Administrator, Incoming Loans (Regular, Full-Time)</p> <p>Registration & Collections</p> <p>Reporting to the Associate Registrar, Permanent Collection, the Registration Administrator, Incoming Loans manages the registration of large incoming collections. This position is projected to end on June 30, 2026.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receives and releases shipments </li><li>Oversees unpacking/packing appointments </li><li>Inventories, measures, and completes incoming condition checks for artworks </li><li>Updates and maintains the database (TMS) </li><li>Submits movement and project requests to LACMA's internal application, MORA </li><li>Generates and sends receipts for incoming and outgoing art shipments </li><li>Archives and maintains paper files </li><li>May Process incoming loan paperwork and coordinate local shipments of artworks </li><li>Performs other duties or special projects as assigned </li><li>Maintains regular and reliable attendance </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>The expected hourly rate for this Los Angeles, CA based position is $25.00-$26.00, subject to change, and the position is eligible for LACMA's comprehensive benefits package, including pension plan. </li><li>LACMA is committed to providing its employees with valuable and competitive benefits as a core part of a strong overall employee experience. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Art History, Museum Studies, or related field. </li><li>Minimum of 1 year of experience in a museum setting, collections management, registration, or a related internship is preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated knowledge of standard museum practices and procedures, as well as art handling experience </li><li>Detail oriented and accustomed to utilizing a variety of tools to track and report the status of projects. </li><li>Experience with TMS or similar database and </li><li>Google Suite is preferred. </li><li>Periodic travel within Los Angeles County is required. </li></ul>
