With guidance from the Executive Team, and in partnership with the Digital Content Manager, this position is the lead strategist for marketing functions including branding, digital communications, social media, advertising, community engagement and public relations. The Marketing & Communications Manager is tasked with driving visibility, awareness, engagement and supporting fundraising and membership goals.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>The Marketing & Communications Manager provides vision, creativity and leadership for all marketing and communications functions on behalf of PBS12. </li><li>Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the image and position of PBS12 within the marketplace and the general public. </li><li>Responsible for collaboration in driving growth, impact, and brand exposure across multiple platforms including print, broadcast and digital. </li><li>Is an expert on our audience, donors, and community and supports the marketing and promotion of current and new content. Responsible for and provides expertise on how to build mission driven brand recognition and engagement across all channels. </li><li>Must be proficient in processing and editing digital software, creating Marketing decks, </li><li>Along with key staff, this position is responsible for community relations and outreach including leading community events, engagement opportunities and driving community support and awareness for the station. </li><li>Ensures consistent brand and user experience across multiple content distribution channels, including the website, social media and video platforms. </li><li>Measures marketing tactics and oversees all data, analytics and budgets to ensure strong ROI on branding and communications initiatives, SEO, PPC marketing, Google analytics, etc. </li><li>Works in collaboration with senior colleagues to create marketing communications related to outreach and events, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. </li><li>Helps drive business goals resulting in financial revenue growth goals, membership growth, and lead generation. </li><li>Acts as the PBS12 liaison between PBS national and other affiliates on all marketing, communications and outreach that stem from national programing and initiatives. </li><li>Partners with Production Department to edit content for social media, fundraising collateral, marketing campaigns, etc. </li></ul> <p>Required Skills: Proficient in full suite of Microsoft and Apple editing and graphics products, including but not limited to Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, HubSpot, Monday, Canva, WordPress.</p> <p>Compensation: $65K-70K</p> <p>Benefits: PBS12 offers a comprehensive benefits package with 100% employer-sponsored medical, dental, LTD, and a $25k life insurance policy along with access to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Paid time off includes 11 holidays plus accrual of vacation, sick, and 3 personal days.
