Be part of an extraordinary life!</p> <p>Northpointe Woods is recruiting for the Business Office Manager. In this role you will provide Human Resources and Financial support to the community and Executive Director. This person is a key member of the Community's management team adhering to policies and procedures and upholding the Community's mission, philosophy, values and the Company's vision, principles and Hospitality Promises.</p> <p>Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of a Business Office Manager:</p> <p>Accounts Payable, Billing/Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and HR Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Oversees the function of routing accounts payable invoices for approval (from the time the invoice arrives in the mail). </li><li>Process census changes (move-ins, move-outs, transfers and deaths). </li><li>Process and deposit resident rent payments daily and manage resident ACH payments. </li><li>Process ancillary resident charges from service points in the community (front desk, salon, dining room etc.). </li><li>Publish and distribute rent increase notices to residents. </li><li>Review billing statements prior to distribution, including final accounting for residents upon death or move out. </li><li>Respond to resident and resident's Power of Attorney regarding billing and financial inquiries. </li><li>Run accounts receivable aging report and make collection efforts on delinquent resident accounts according to the Accounts Receivable Collections policy. </li><li>Supports creating a culture where the business decisions made in this position, along with individual employee engagement, drive top-line revenue and occupancy. </li><li>Responsible for verifying that all credit card receipts are accounted and submits documents to Community Accounting department. </li><li>Supervise the Business Office Assistant and Administrative Assistant. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing and hiring; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees. </li><li>Process bi-weekly payroll. Ensure accuracy and compliance with policies and procedures. </li><li>Report all new hires, status changes (leaves of absence, classification and wage changes) and changes that affect participation in benefit programs for community staff. </li></ul> <p>Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in accounting, business, or human resources preferred </li><li>Minimum of one year supervising staff preferred </li></ul> <p>If you're an enthusiastic, compassionate, senior care professional who is passionate about hospitality and senior engagement- please apply, we'd love to get to know you!
