<p>About the Role</p> <p>Ring Concierge is a rapidly growing, female-founded fine jewelry company, specializing in custom engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking an experienced Merchant leader to oversee our Fine Jewelry and Bridal division. This omnichannel role will own and drive profitable growth across eCommerce and Retail. The ideal candidate should have a passion for product and leadership. Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth retail environment is a must.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Build an omni channel merchandising strategy that supports Ring Concierge's brand DNA and business goals. Share product vision across the organization and ensure strong alignment with cross-functional partners. </li><li>Own evergreen pricing and seasonal promotional strategies that will both drive incremental revenue and protect margin. </li><li>Be an industry expert; leverage market research to identify trends and white space opportunities. Stay obsessed with the Ring Concierge customer and her evolving needs & wants. </li><li>Work closely with Product Development to build a robust pipeline of innovative and differentiated products that will delight the RC customer. Explore new categories and assess the size of the prize. </li><li>Collaborate with Marketing to execute robust go to market 360 channel plans that bring the product to life and exceed sales targets. </li><li>Work with Planning to support merchandising priorities with the appropriate level of investment. Jointly determine a markdown and end of life strategy. </li><li>Partner with Site Merchandising and Retail teams to ensure the look and feel of ecommerce and stores is consistent with merchandising direction. Identify opportunities to improve the customer journey and conversion across channels. </li><li>Provide coaching and development for team members; be an advocate for the team and champion Merchandising initiatives across peer group. </li><li>Report to the SVP of Merchandising. </li></ul> <p>About You</p> <ul> <li>A trusted, collaborative, and detail-oriented self-starter </li><li>Possess superior leadership skills; ability to engage and inspire teammates </li><li>Strategic thinker that can see the forest through the trees </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience presenting to senior leadership </li><li>Embraces and manages change with a can-do positive attitude </li><li>Ability to work flexible hours outside of business hours to secure business needs </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred </li><li>10+ years of relevant omni channel experience (merchandising & analytics, product development/merchandise management, buying/planning) </li><li>Experience in the jewelry industry or with a fashion or luxury brand; high taste level </li><li>Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and GoogleSuite skills </li><li>Knowledge of Shopify preferred, but not required </li></ul> <p>Details</p> <ul> <li>Full-time role located in midtown NYC </li><li>Office Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, with the knowledge that we have a startup culture and your day may extend past listed office hours </li><li>Health, Vision & Dental Insurance for full-time employees </li><li>401k with employer match program </li><li>Generous employee discounts on our fine jewelry </li><li>Paid time off, including an extra allowance of 3 days annually for religious observances </li><li>The salary for this position is $160,000 - $170,000, commensurate with experience </li></ul>
