<p>Duties</p> <ol> <li> <p>Implement effective teaching methods and structured classroom management strategies that accommodate a range of abilities, interests, and developmental stages</p> </li><li> <p>Differentiate instruction for varied levels of English proficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with the ML department team, building principal, and Director of Language Programs to establish a caseload based on Transitional Bilingual Education (TBE) and Transitional Program of Instruction (TPI) student needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Work directly with the principal and Director of Language Programs to identify K-5 ML students for direct services</p> </li><li> <p>Apply district curriculum standards to support language learners</p> </li><li> <p>Participate actively in district, faculty, and ML department meetings</p> </li><li> <p>Serve as an engaged member of the school's problem-solving team</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in administering the annual ACCESS test, regularly assess individual student progress, and maintain essential records</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate with parents/guardians to discuss student needs and progress</p> </li></ol> <p>Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>Valid and current ISBE Professional Educator License (PEL) for elementary or primary level with EL endorsement</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication skills for engaging with students, families, and other professionals</p> </li><li> <p>Experience in providing language intervention for English/Multilingual learners</p> </li><li> <p>Minimum of three (3) years of exemplary classroom teaching experience (preferred)</p> </li><li> <p>Strong skills in communication, planning, organization, and time management, contributing to structure and accountability in the role</p> </li><li> <p>Proven expertise in diverse instructional methods, data analysis, and technology to enhance instruction; demonstrated ability to foster professional relationships, collaborate in planning, and solve problems</p> </li><li> <p>In-depth understanding of learning styles, brain-based learning, and differentiated instruction for both content and language</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of WIDA standards, language domains, and Can-Do WIDA statements</p> </li></ol> <p>Salary/Benefits</p> <p>~60,000</p> <p>How to Apply</p> <p>Please visit the employment page on our website to apply for interested positions.
