<p>Luther Manor is looking for a Cook to join our team!</p> <p>9:00am-6:00pm</p> <p>Every other Weekend-Rotation on Holidays</p> <p>Starting wage $18.00 a hour, wage based on experience</p> <p>Our Dining Services department is a trusted partner to care for and provide excellent care to our residents. As a Cook you will prepare starches and assists with entrée preparation for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Luther Manor cooks follow specific dietary restrictions and provides alternatives for our residents.</p> <ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age </li><li>Previous cooking experience </li><li>Experience in quantity food production or its' equivalent </li><li>Basic math skills when adjusting recipes which includes measuring and scaling </li><li>Knowledge of safe and productive use of kitchen machines including mixers, processors, slicers, steamers, and computer-aided ovens </li><li>Ability to work in a kitchen environment which includes enduring temperatures ranging from -8 degrees to 100 degrees </li><li>Must be able to transport and empty food containers with an average weight of 50 lbs </li><li>Reports directly to the Sous-Chef or Executive Chef </li></ul>
