<p>Position Overview</p> <p>dormakaba is seeking a Machinist II based in Indianapolis, IN. The Machinist II is responsible for performing machine setups and tool changes and making adjustments, as necessary.</p> <p>This position is available on Second Shift (2PM - 10:30PM) with a base pay range of $23 hr. - $27/hr. Mandatory overtime as needed.</p> <p>$2,000 Sign-on Bonus (details provided during interview)\</p> <p>What you will do</p> <ul> <li>Operate machine according to standard operating instructions </li><li>Document and inspect quality of work per Quality Assurance Inspection Procedure (QAIP) </li><li>Use micrometers, height gauges, calipers, and comparator </li><li>Understand work orders and routings </li><li>Follow all environmental, health, & safety policies and procedures </li><li>Daily 5Shousekeeping </li></ul> <p>What we require</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Extensive experience (operating, setups, tool changes, etc.) </li><li>Understanding of: shop math, blueprint reading/comprehension, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) </li><li>Experience using precision measuring instruments </li><li>Ability to perform advanced quality inspections </li></ul> <p>What we prefer</p> <ul> <li>SAP or Enterprise system knowledge </li><li>Documented manufacturing education/training </li><li>Experience in applying similar quality control concepts </li><li>Computer proficiency </li><li>Lean skills </li><li>Fluency in both verbal and written English </li></ul> <p>What we offer</p> <ul> <li>Taking Care of our employees on day one with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
