<p>Position Summary</p> <p>This position functions under the general supervision of the Services Superintendent and provides a wide variety of Lodging Management Program and Scheduling Program support to include billeting/lodging, custodial, and invoicing . This position acts as focal point for the above-mentioned program and requires a high degree of program knowledge and independent judgment. The incumbent must have the ability to work and communicate effectively with the National Guard Bureau (NGB), visiting military unit personnel, base staff, and the general public.</p> <p>Salary Information</p> <p>Starting pay is $20.63</p> <p>This position is in the 02/10 pay schedule/range. A 12-month probation will be required.</p> <p>For current permanent state employees, pay will be set in accordance with the State Compensation Plan.</p> <p>To learn more about the complete compensation package, please visit the Total Rewards Calculator.</p> <p>Job Details</p> <p>Must possess or be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license as a condition of continued employment.</p> <p>In order to gain access to the military facilities and to determine whether the circumstances of any conviction may be related to the job being filled, DMA will conduct a comprehensive background check.</p> <p>In addition, the position requires a Common Access Card (CAC). A CAC requires successful completion of a Department of Defense investigation which is an additional more in-depth federal background check, for gaining access to federal computer systems, restricted locations, or classified information.</p> <p>The Department of Military Affairs does not sponsor work visas at the time of hire or anytime during employment. All persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and complete the required Employment Eligibility Form I-9.</p> <p>This is a State of Wisconsin Civil Service position. The DMA does not require current or previous military experience.</p> <p>All new permanent, project, and limited term employees will be required to report to Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) in Madison on the Monday of their first week of employment for the New Employee Orientation (NEO) program. Additional information will be sent to the new employees and their supervisors on the Tuesday prior to NEO.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Candidates who meet minimum qualifications will have experience with:</p> <ul> <li>Microsoft Office Suite and/or other software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Goggle Docs, Etc.) </li><li>Management of electronic and/or hard files. </li><li>Use of standard office equipment (e.g., multi-line phones, copiers, fax machines, or AV systems, etc.) </li><li>Providing customer service (e.g., providing instructions, answering questions, problem solving, etc.) in a professional or business setting </li></ul> <p>In addition to the minimum qualifications, well-qualified candidates will also have the following preferred qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Invoicing management </li><li>Credit Card transaction management </li><li>Lodging, Billeting and/or Hospitality experience </li></ul> <p>Your resume and letter of qualification are very important parts of your application.
