<p>Kforce has a client in Boston, MA that is seeking an Accountant II.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and review journal entries and ledger postings to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions </li><li>The Accountant will compile and analyze financial data to support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports </li><li>Reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure supporting documentation is accurate and up to date </li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and daily cash management activities </li><li>Assist with forecasting and financial planning by analyzing trends, expenses, and commitments </li><li>Support internal departments and external stakeholders with financial queries and reporting </li><li>Prepare and submit financial reports, including regulatory filings and surveys as required </li><li>Collaborate with internal teams and external partners on billing, invoicing, and reconciliation activities </li><li>Assist with budgeting and cost analysis to support operational efficiency </li><li>Support audit processes by preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries </li><li>Ensure accounting procedures align with applicable standards, policies, and regulations </li><li>The Accountant will contribute to process improvements and documentation of standard operating procedures. </li><li>Maintain organized records and ensure the confidentiality of financial information* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required </li><li>2+ years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience </li><li>Strong proficiency with Excel and financial/accounting software; experience with ERP systems is a plus </li><li>Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines </li></ul>
