Tranzonic's rapid growth, both organic and via acquisition, is powered by its team of driven, innovative problem-solvers and a culture of integrity and respect.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Supports the Credit and A/R Department by processing customer payments in a timely fashion and resolving customer payment issues as well as providing related accounting and administrative support.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Post payments to customer accounts (Lockbox, and credit card) </li><li>Work with customers to help resolve transaction issues </li><li>Process credit card charges and post to customer accounts for multiple divisions </li><li>Completes ACH form requests </li><li>Miscellaneous write-offs as necessary </li><li>Complete customer vouchers </li><li>Create customer statements when needed </li><li>Back up to scan customer checks to the bank </li><li>Answers incoming calls from customers and internal personnel, assisting them with any questions/problems. </li><li>Make commission adjustments when write offs are done </li><li>Assist satellite offices with any check scanning issues </li><li>Process NSF checks </li><li>Initiate the refund process for overpayments / duplicate payments </li><li>Manage any credit card disputes and retrieve proper documentation to resolve </li><li>Check Department voicemail box </li><li>Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management </li><li>Assist the department in other areas as needed (directed by the Credit Manager) </li></ul> <p>Education, Certifications and Licensures:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED </li><li>Basic accounting skills </li><li>Capable of meeting deadlines </li><li>Ability to multi task </li><li>Good Customer Service Skills </li><li>Able to work independently </li><li>Basic knowledge in excel </li><li>Minimum of 1 year in the cash application field </li><li>Experience working with credit card processing sites preferred </li></ul>
