The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.</p> <p>We are currently seeking a Vice President, Distribution Finance to join our Global FP&A team, based in our New York, NY, office.</p> <p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Oversee financial modeling of proposals as part of negotiations of MVPD and partnership opportunities </li><li>Perform financial analysis of proposed economics and make recommendations for counter proposals </li><li>Summarize proposals for executive management </li><li>Review contractual provisions during negotiations to ensure economic terms within the financial model and contract agree </li><li>Provide financial analysis to evaluate Streaming bundles and partnerships </li><li>Develop and maintain expertise on Distributors and the landscape: </li><li>Analyze subscriber trends and financial history </li><li>Operational strategy / positioning of products in the marketplace, including the pricing and packaging of linear and SVOD services. </li><li>Research, analyze, and summarize industry trends to inform renewal strategy </li><li>Partner with the Strategic Business Development team on analyzing new and existing methods of monetizing AMC Networks IP </li><li>Oversee monthly close, forecasting, budgeting and LRP for Affiliate, Content Licensing, Franchise, and Gaming Revenue and Expense </li><li>Support the preparation of Board of Director's Budget presentations and quarterly reporting </li><li>Identify and oversee tracking of Distribution Revenue metrics, including, Rate Per Basic Subscriber and Average Revenue per User </li><li>Provide ongoing support to SVP-Finance, Commercial Revenue in fundamental reporting and analysis, and ad hoc tasks. </li><li>Manage and develop a high-performing team of finance leaders </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree </li><li>BA/BS or equivalent working experience </li><li>MBA or pursuing MBA preferred </li><li>10 plus years of experience in Finance or Management Consulting </li><li>Previous experience with negotiations, streaming, content licensing, or ad-supported cable TV is a plus </li><li>Strong analytical skills?and experience with reporting and data analysis </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Experience with data visualization tools and financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Essbase, etc.) </li><li>Must be a creative problem solver and a quick thinker </li><li>Comfortable working in high pressure situations. </li></ul> <p>The base compensation range for this position is $200,000- $240,000, commensurate with experience.
