<p>As a 2025 AutoZone Fall Intern supporting the Inventory Accounting Team, you will play a critical role in analyzing store and Distribution Center inventory processes. With your background knowledge as an Accounting Major, you will gain hands-on experience that will support and enhance your skills in financial analysis, compliance, and strategic decision-making.</p> <p>What our Top 100 Internship Program Offers:</p> <ul> <li>Fall Semester Part-Time Internship between September 29 - December 12, 2025 </li><li>Valuable Work Experience at a Fortune 250 </li><li>Realistic, Meaningful Job Preview </li><li>Cross-functional Job Shadowing </li></ul> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Prepare weekly store inventory packets and communicate with the LP and Store Operations team to research and resolve issues </li><li>Analyze store inventory results for any variations </li><li>Upload the manual store inventory schedule for the upcoming fiscal year </li><li>Prepare reports to identify and forecast store inventory needs </li><li>Reconcile weekly entries to the Mainframe and ensure accuracy in the General Ledger </li><li>Review store supply expenses and follow up for corrections </li><li>Perform weekly Distribution Center Cycle Count reconciliations </li><li>Process weekly inventory adjustments and order changes </li><li>Research and respond to inventory-related questions from the field </li><li>Prepare period close journal entries and prepare balance sheet reconciliations </li></ul> <p>Majors we are Searching for:</p> <ul> <li>Accounting </li></ul> <p>School Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be a current Junior, Senior or Graduate student enrolled into a college or university at the time of Fall Semester 2025 Internship Program (September 29 - December 12, 2025) </li><li>Intern must be attending classes while working as an intern for the Fall Semester </li><li>Must be able to live in Memphis or adjacent counties for the duration of the internship and be fully in-person at work during the internship.
