<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Full-time Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)</p> <p>Chaplin Elementary School, a small learning environment in northeast Connecticut of approximately 155 students has an immediate opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Board Certified Behavior Analyst servicing grades PK-6 to complement and enhance its team.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Must have BCBA license/certification</p> <p>Trained in de-escalation and restraint (or willing to be trained)</p> <p>Working knowledge of IDEA and CT special education regulations</p> <p>Working knowledge of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973</p> <p>Ability to serve as a member of a team</p> <p>Job Responsibilities:</p> <p>Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), write reports, present at PPT meetings</p> <p>Design Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) and associated data collection methods that can be carried out in the school setting</p> <p>Model implementation of BIPs and data collection</p> <p>Present data from BIPs at PPT meetings</p> <p>Lead the school's SRBI-Behavior process</p> <p>Support crisis management</p> <p>Provide training to staff on classroom behavior management</p> <p>Provide support/consultation to school's FLEX program</p> <p>On-going consultation/collaboration with principal and Director of Special Education</p> <p>Other responsibilities as directed by administration</p> <p>Please send application, resume, copy of license/certification and three letters of reference to Andrew Skarzynski Superintendent, c/o Sarai Ortega, 304 Parish Hill Road, Chaplin, CT 06235.
