If that sounds like you, you can win at Wilsonart.</p> <p>Position Overview -Warehouse Assistant/CDL Driver</p> <p>Wilsonart, Moorestown, has an immediate opening for a Warehouse Assistant/CDL Driver. This position performs complex warehousing functions to replenish the finished goods inventory with material from the manufacturing facilities. Fills customer orders, inspects material, packs material for shipments, and drives trucks as needed in the assigned department/location. Performs other tasks</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Receives all material from the manufacturing facilities and vendors </li><li>Checks and places materials in the correct bin </li><li>Checks material against the manifest and reports discrepancies </li><li>Informs supervisor and photographs all defective materials </li><li>Cuts down over-sized laminate to fill pending orders </li><li>Reads, interprets, processes, and packs orders </li><li>Performs total skid count for loads </li><li>Assists the needs of the customer </li><li>As needed: Drives truck to destinations and returns safely </li><li>Maintains acceptable driving record </li><li>Performs emergency roadside repairs </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of computers sufficient to perform basic customer service functions </li><li>Knowledge of materials inventoried </li><li>Knowledge of packing techniques </li><li>Knowledge of proper material handling techniques </li><li>Ability to understand and follow directions </li><li>Ability to work independently </li><li>Ability to drive a lift truck and operate a table saw </li><li>Ability to read and understand customer orders </li><li>Knowledge of Department of Transportation and state regulations and local laws pertaining to vehicle operations </li><li>Knowledge of truck hauling procedures </li><li>Knowledge of hazardous waste materials and safe handling procedures </li><li>Skill in proper handling techniques for all products </li><li>Skill in required packaging techniques for all products inventoried </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>One year of college may be substituted for one year of required experience (maximum substitution of three years) </li><li>Must have a valid Class B commercial driver's license </li><li>Hazardous Material Endorsement and Tanker Endorsement </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>3+ years relevant warehouse experience </li><li>1+ years Local CDL experience </li><li>No chargeable accidents in the last five years </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>Continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking/pushing/climbing and lifting material or equipment of heavy weight (>50 lbs) Examples: grounds staff and EMS</p> <p>COMPENSATION: $21.99 - $27.21/HR, DOE</p> <p>The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
