<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Commercial Flooring Installer Job Summary</p> <p>We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking Union Flooring Installers to join our Commercial Installation team. Experience is always a plus, but we will give opportunities to the right candidates to go through the union Apprentice program. You will install a variety of flooring materials such as, carpet tile, broadloom carpet, sheet vinyl, luxury vinyl plank, VCT, stair treads, and more. Candidates with experience in flooring installation, and/or commercial construction is preferred.</p> <p>Flooring Installer Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Assess work sites to determine possible issues and make recommendations accordingly </li><li>Prepare surfaces for installation by removing old hardware like screws and bolts </li><li>Use hand and power tools to install flooring materials according to client specifications </li><li>Work alongside other installers while emphasizing safety and efficient use of time and materials </li><li>Inspect finished work to ensure customer satisfaction and the highest possible standards of work </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Flooring Installer Requirements and Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>A high school diploma or GED certificate </li><li>Floor Covering experience preferred </li><li>Physical stamina and the ability to lift upwards of 50 pounds </li><li>Reliable transportation </li><li>Keen attention to detail </li><li>Qualified individuals must be able to pass a post offer drug test and background check. </li></ul> <p>Schedule</p> <ul> <li>Schedules very, but most of the time it is Monday through Friday 6am - 2pm.
