<p>Performs preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility.</p> <p>Reports to: Director of Plant Operations</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Installs, tests, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, and systems as scheduled or needed.</p> <p>Performs utility and structural repairs as needed, alone or in collaboration with internal/external tradespersons.</p> <p>Inspects, tests, and maintains records for all fire risers, sprinklers, extinguishers, fire doors, and other fire/safety-related equipment and systems.</p> <p>Moves items within/between locations and from/to storage.</p> <p>Non-Essential Functions</p> <p>Performs other duties as assigned</p> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> <p>Must complete all assigned education in a timely manner.</p> <p>Must complete department specific education.</p> <p>Attends and participates in staff meetings, in-service, projects and committees as assigned</p> <p>Adheres to and supports policies and procedures of the STRHS</p> <p>Works scheduled shifts including overtime, when necessary</p> <p>Accepts all call schedule as directed</p> <p>Maintains a neat and professional appearance in compliance to the existing dress code</p> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <p>High School diploma or equivalent</p> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.</p> <p>HVAC certification preferred.</p> <p>Equal opportunity and affirmative action employers and are looking for diversity in candidates for employment: Minority/Female/Disabled/Protected Veteran</p>
