With a geographic footprint across 34 states, we strive to be an industry leader, providing fuel and convenience products essential to keep people moving across America!</p> <p>At the core of our mission, we are a responsible, people-focused organization, committed to the well-being of our employees, customers, and the environment.</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>Our Food Service Assistant Manager provides support to the Store Manager in daily operations to ensure maximum profitability, the safety of customers and employees, and builds teams to exceed our customer's expectation and ensure they want to come back every day.</p> <p>Key Accountabilities</p> <p>In the manager's absence or at their direction:</p> <ul> <li>Complete daily paperwork and bank deposits </li><li>Create and place store orders </li><li>Schedule employees </li><li>Insure store cleanliness and proper merchandising </li><li>Proper Inventory Control </li><li>Create exceptional customer experiences </li><li>Provide direction and support to team members through training, answering questions, and providing knowledge on store products/services </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements</p> <p>Exemplify our core values of integrity, accountability, service, respect, teamwork and innovation at the managerial level as well as demonstrate excellent leadership skills.</p> <p>Additional requirements include:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 1-2 years of supervisory experience in the retail, restaurant, grocery or other service industry with responsibility for financial results </li><li>Previous management proficiency in high volume retail with P&L accountability </li><li>Ability to create and maintain a customer focused culture </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements and Work Environment:</p> <ul> <li>Standing for Long Periods: Must be able to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours) during shifts. </li><li>Lifting and Carrying: Capable of lifting boxes and products, maximum 50 lbs, frequently 10-25 lbs, and carrying items across the store. </li><li>Bending, Reaching, Squatting and Climbing: Ability to bend, squat, and reach for products on shelves, both high and low. Ability to climb a ladder as needed. </li><li>Walking: Must be able to walk throughout the store and between departments regularly. </li><li>Manual Dexterity: Ability to handle cash, operate registers, and bag items efficiently. </li><li>Repetitive Movements: Must be comfortable with repetitive tasks such as scanning items, restocking, and organizing products. </li><li>Handling Temperature Extremes: Able to work in cold environments, including freezers and refrigerators, when restocking products. </li><li>Physical Stamina: The role requires mental focus and stamina to perform physical tasks consistently and efficiently throughout the shift </li><li>Seasonal snow removal, as needed. </li><li>Ability to handle emergency situations. </li><li>Ability to work alone. </li></ul> <p>The physical requirements and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met or encountered by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of</p> <p>this job.
