Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Responsible for recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, accounting for the disposition of fixed assets, handling assigned ad hoc reporting, and month-end activities. Aligned with Prisma Health Policies and Procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and any other applicable professional practices and standards.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Be the difference.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for all fixed asset, intangible asset, accumulated depreciation and amortization, and assets-in-progress GL accounts. This includes independently researching and documenting reconciling items, and, if applicable, making any correcting journal entries.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for Fixed Asset additions, deletions, and depreciation schedules balanced to month, quarter and year-end financials</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors compilation of Construction-In-Progress activity and place assets in service monthly. Including tracking project costs into fixed asset CIP account, and close out and place in service the spend activity once the related projects have been completed</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews and analyzes high volume of Fixed Assets Capex cost</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts analysis related to fixed assets as requested by management </p> </li><li> <p>Reconciles GL Fixed Asset accounts and resolve discrepancies and prepare Fixed Asset Roll forward</p> </li><li> <p>Reconciles Fixed Assets to subledgers</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares monthly and quarterly reports for the organization as requested</p> </li><li> <p>Reviews processes to create efficiencies and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Supervisory/Management Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Requirements</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - Three (3) years -capital, project and/or fixed assets accounting/finance experience</p> </li></ul> <p>In Lieu Of</p> <ul> <li>NA </li></ul> <p>Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses</p> <ul> <li>NA </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Database and data entry skills</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier)</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient computer skills (word processing)</p> </li><li> <p>Mathematical skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent analytical (MS Excel), conceptual skills preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of Workday and/or Strata preferred</p> </li></ul> <p>Work Shift</p> <p>Day (United States of America)</p> <p>Location</p> <p>Corporate</p> <p>Facility</p> <p>7001 Corporate</p> <p>Department</p> <p>70019004 Accounting</p> <p>Share your talent with us!
