Be the difference.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>Responsible for recording the cost of newly acquired fixed assets, tracking existing fixed assets, recording depreciation, accounting for the disposition of fixed assets, handling assigned ad hoc reporting, and month-end activities. Aligned with Prisma Health Policies and Procedures, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), and any other applicable professional practices and standards.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li> <p>All team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Be the difference.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for all fixed asset, intangible asset, accumulated depreciation and amortization, and assets-in-progress GL accounts. This includes independently researching and documenting reconciling items, and, if applicable, making any correcting journal entries.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for Fixed Asset additions, deletions, and depreciation schedules balanced to month, quarter and year-end financials</p> </li><li> <p>Monitors compilation of Construction-In-Progress activity and place assets in service monthly.
