We provide support to our contractors by serving as the channel that unites them with the construction products that they need. When it comes to the contractor, we are always there when they need us. We never stop working for them. When they build, we build together.</p> <p>Reporting to the shift Warehouse Lead or Logistics Manager, this position has primary responsibility for keeping inventory organized and ready to ship to customers as well as branch locations.</p> <p>Responsibilities include the following:</p> <ul> <li>Provides general assistance, including pulling and staging orders </li><li>Performs bin location maintenance </li><li>Performs tasks to ensure safety, organization and cleanliness of the warehouse </li><li>Assists in conducting cycle counting to insure inventory accuracy </li><li>Attends safety training and meetings; follows rules and regulations </li><li>Performs forklift inspections and completes reports; forklift operation </li><li>Communicate consistently with management, all branch personnel </li><li>May perform Receiving and Shipping functions as follows: </li><li>Verifying inventory against purchase orders for accuracy </li><li>Receiving inventory into the NEFCO ERP software system </li><li>Staging/Shelving inventory </li><li>Uses RF technology to pick orders and verifies items </li><li>Sends picked orders to packing department </li><li>Pack goods following NEFCO processes and procedures </li><li>Loads trucks with packed orders in a specified sequence </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma (or equivalent) </li><li>Ability to use NEFCO's ERP software system </li><li>Ability to use warehouse layouts for planning purposes </li><li>Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, or Outlook a plus </li><li>Basic computer skills </li><li>Must have a positive, hard-working attitude </li><li>Ability to establish priorities, work independently and little supervision </li><li>Ability to multitask </li><li>Excellent communication skills </li><li>Ability to stands on concrete floor for long periods of time </li><li>Must be able to work in various climate conditions such as cold, heat, humidity for a long period of time </li><li>Ability to crouch, stoop, kneel, crawl and twist for lifting </li><li>Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Ability to review and interpret computer images and written documents </li><li>Analytical ability including basic math skills </li><li>HS diploma or GED required </li></ul>
