<p>Description</p> <p>Cobot Operators are responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the robotic system. The role of the Robot operator is to ensure the smooth operation of robotic systems, minimizing downtime, and contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing process.</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Essential Functions of Position:</p> <ul> <li>Operating and programming robot(s) as per the work instructions </li><li>Reading and understanding engineering welding drawings </li><li>Performing regular maintenance checks on robotic and welding systems </li><li>Monitoring robotic systems during operation and adjusting as necessary </li><li>Troubleshooting robotic system malfunctions and conducting repairs </li><li>Ensuring safety protocols are adhered to during robot operation </li><li>Completing production and quality logs accurately </li><li>Participating in cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing processes </li><li>Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed </li><li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proven work experience as a CNC Operator/Programmer, Robot Operator or similar role </li><li>Welding Experience (TIG preferred) </li><li>Experience with robotic operation and programming </li><li>Technical understanding of robotic systems and their operation </li><li>Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities </li><li>Attention to detail and documentation experience </li><li>Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or degree in a technical field is an advantage </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day. </li><li>Occasional lifting, carrying, and maneuvering up to 50 pounds. </li><li>Ability to climb ladders, stairs, and platforms for elevated work. </li><li>Walking, bending, squatting, kneeling, balancing, stooping, lie down inside or under vessel and twisting while performing required job tasks. </li><li>Comfortable in chemically Hazardous Situations. </li><li>Being mindful of chemical safety and use proper PPE when required. </li><li>Being able to hold a 4-8lb grinder for prolonged periods, while applying force. </li><li>Ability to grasp welding torch while welding parts for brief periods to long periods of time. </li></ul>
