<p>Your Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Complete 7,000 hours between the College Program and on-the-job training (OJT) in our manufacturing facilities </li><li>Assists with monthly preventative maintenance on machines and equipment </li><li>Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems and update existing equipment </li><li>Drive Technical Improvement activities as prioritized by production management and defined by Process Engineering (scrap, efficiency, utilization, quality, cost, cycle time) </li><li>Support small step improvements related to quality, costs, logistics and motivation </li><li>Reduce direct expenses by standardizing and optimizing tooling and machine components </li><li>Adheres to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices including 5-S standards </li><li>Know and understand the current specifications of the Quality Policy and Procedures, and the Safety and Environmental Policy and Procedures and contributes to the achievement of these objectives </li><li>Successfully complete, to the Company's specification, courses of study required for the Associates Degree in Industrial Maintenance Technology </li></ul> <p>Your Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li><li>Successful completion of the Compass Placement Test (required for school admission) </li><li>Ability to move or lift 35 pounds </li><li>Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment VISA or other sponsorship </li><li>This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. </li></ul>
