The responsibilities include site visits, engagement with tenants and landlords, acting as the primary point of contact, along with solid knowledge of policies and procedures and the ability to support a team of case managers.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate lease-up process; meet new tenants on-site at units, complete necessary documents, and review Eliot's leasing policies and procedures. </li><li>Supervise Housing Coordinators </li><li>Coordinate with landlords and tenants to complete on-site unit inspections for each rental unit at new tenant lease-up, tenant exit, annually, and as needed. </li><li>Serve as primary contact with landlords; triage to other staff as needed. </li><li>Serve as the main point of contact for assigned tenants to address any housing related needs. </li><li>Foster relationship and coordinate with case management staff at partner service provider agencies to discuss tenant issues and successes related to housing. </li><li>Attend monthly service provider/landlord meetings. </li><li>Triage and respond to unit transfer requests and reasonable accommodations and ensure all required documentation is complete and submitted. </li><li>Develop expertise in contract and legal requirements for leasing programs including tenant/landlord law; eviction process. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience. </li><li>Weekly travel across the Metro Boston and Northeast region required. Mileage reimbursed at the federal rate. </li><li>Understanding of homeless services and nonprofit organizations preferred. </li><li>Understanding of housing first practices, including low threshold and trauma informed approaches preferred. </li><li>Bilingual candidates fluent in a needed language may be eligible for a 6% salary increase </li></ul> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm</p> <p>Annual Salary</p> <p>$70,000-$75,000 USD</p> <p>At Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
