This includes direct company sponsorship, entry of ONE Gas as the immigration employer of record on a government form, and any work authorization requiring a written submission or other immigration support from the company (e.g., H1-B, OPT, STEM OPT, CPT, TN, J-1, etc)</p> <p>What You Will Do</p> <p>Performs inspection work on company pipelines; oversees contractors engaged in the construction and maintenance of a pipeline system.</p> <p>Inspects installation, maintenance, and removal work performed by or contractors on transmission and distribution pipelines to ensure compliance and identify noncompliance with company and governmental standards.</p> <p>Assists with operation and/or maintenance of tools and equipment in performance of duties including:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Pipe and crescent wrenches</p> </li><li> <p>Pipe cutters and threaders</p> </li><li> <p>Hammers and screwdrivers</p> </li><li> <p>Picks, shovels, and rakes</p> </li><li> <p>Air compressors and generators</p> </li><li> <p>Plastic fusion equipment</p> </li><li> <p>Combustible Gas Indicators - flame-ionization unit</p> </li><li> <p>Jiggle bar</p> </li><li> <p>Tapping and plugging</p> </li><li> <p>Performs routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Maintains logs; compiles and prepares reports including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Inspection logs</p> </li><li> <p>Leak reports</p> </li><li> <p>Job order completion information</p> </li><li> <p>Training/testing records</p> </li><li> <p>Mileage reports</p> </li><li> <p>Accident/first aid reports</p> </li><li> <p>Expense Reports</p> </li></ul> <p>Investigates customer related orders and emergency situations including but not limited to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Low pressure calls</p> </li><li> <p>Class 1 leaks</p> </li><li> <p>Blowing lines</p> </li><li> <p>Fires/explosions</p> </li><li> <p>Undetectable lines</p> </li></ul> <p>Reviews invoices for accuracy (pricing, quantity installed, materials used, etc.).Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job.</p> <p>Employee may be required to perform additional duties as assigned.</p>
