You will serve as the administrative leader for one or more research departments, programs, markets and/or shared services. This role manages multiple diverse groups with a moderate level of collective complexity and leverages departmental and program leaders to effectively manage all components of the Research Enterprise.</p> <p>There are 3 positions available. Please indicate your preference for the following:</p> <ul> <li>Children's Instiatute OPE/Pharmacy and OGI Nursing </li><li>Florida sub-market, Diagnostics Institute, Imaging, Path Lab Med, and Primary Care Institute </li><li>Neurosciences and Ophthalmic Research </li></ul> <p>A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.</p> <p>A caregiver who excels in this role will:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage one large research department or multiple related or teams in a matrixed environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the liaison between researchers and research leaders and oversee all administrative aspects of research activities for their area.</p> </li><li> <p>Set priorities to assure that research is conducted efficiently, ethically and in compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines and throughput is meeting service level expectations.</p> </li><li> <p>Work closely with research leaders to ensure service level expectations are managed and supported to align with research priorities.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide key information and updates to inform research operation reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Create and directs strategy and growth, implementation, research and shared services productivity, financial performance, compliance and risk mitigation and continuous improvement for their research area.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead and manage people in a complex environment, setting meaningful goals and ensuring accountability in achievement.</p> </li><li> <p>Select top talent and build leadership succession through development and coaching.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide ongoing support and professional development opportunities for research team members.</p> </li><li> <p>Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation and excellence within research operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Set priorities for their area, lead delivery of services, programs and projects, develop and implement policies, procedures, standards and strategic plans for assigned research areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage and allocate resources to align with business objectives for research area.</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and manage the financial operations for the assigned research areas, including budget development, expense and revenue analysis, evaluation of research support and shared services and development activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide reporting to Research leadership as required.</p> </li><li> <p>In partnership with Executive Director Research Operations, develop short and long-term research strategies.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage team to ensure execution of the growth plan and programmatic development.</p> </li><li> <p>Drive research integrity by partnering with researchers to ensure compliance with relevant policies, regulations and ethical standards governing research activities.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field and 10 years of professional and functionally relevant experience with 6 years of demonstrated leadership and management experience</p> </li><li> <p>OR Master's degree in a relevant field and 8 years of professional and functionally relevant experience with 6 years of demonstrated leadership and management experience</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent analytical skills and business acumen</p> </li><li> <p>Strong oral and written communication skills in English</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Master's degree in business, Healthcare Administration or related field</p> </li><li> <p>Current Research Administrator</p> </li></ul> <p>Our caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set and education. The pay range displayed does not include any applicable pay practices (e.g., shift differentials, overtime, etc.). The pay range does not include the value of Cleveland Clinic's benefits package (e.g., healthcare, dental and vision benefits, retirement savings account contributions, etc.).</p>
