We are seeking an experienced Test Engineer to support our growing communications system business within the technology systems market. This position can be based in either Frederick, MD or Coppell, TX, however due to the nature of the position, will require heavy travel for the first two to three months, both domestic and international.</p> <p>Your tasks</p> <ul> <li>Deploy and test IP based voice communications systems. </li><li>Support development of test plans according to program requirements. </li><li>Create and execute test cases. </li><li>Generate test reports, problem/defect reports, mitigation plans. </li><li>Work with design team to maintain verification requirements traceability matrix (VRTM). </li><li>Work closely with the engineering teams based in Europe and North America. </li></ul> <p>Exciting insights into Rohde & Schwarz</p> <p>Our colleagues provide insider information about:</p> <ul> <li>Daily adventures and challenges </li><li>Our passionate team </li><li>The technologies behind the innovative projects and solutions </li></ul> <p>Your browser does not support the video tag</p> <p>Your qualifications</p> <ul> <li>B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or relevant engineering degree. </li><li>Systems test experience with good understanding of execution of test programs. </li><li>Con?guring and analyzing VoIP networks, computing infrastructure, software deployments. </li><li>Proficient in relevant business tools including MS Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint.Proficient in Microsoft Windows, Linux (Oracle), VM's. </li><li>Excellent technical writing skills. </li><li>Proactive, analytical, detail-oriented and self-managed. </li><li>Comfortable working in a team and without formal direction. </li><li>Ability to travel for installs and acceptance testing throughout the United States, Canada, and Europe, up to 50%. </li><li>US citizen capable of receiving a US Government security clearance. </li></ul> <p>Interested?</p> <p>We are looking forward to receiving your application!</p> <p>The total compensation for this position is $70K-$160K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
