CPV Manufacturing is an industrial valve manufacturer located in Kennett Square, looking for someone to focus full time on updating drawings and procedures. Every US Naval Aircraft Carrier and Nuclear Submarine is outfitted with our products, so our standards are high.</p> <p>Essential Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Update and create new 3D models and drawing from paper and AutoCAD files, using SolidWorks. </li><li>Maintain Company files for documents, drawings, and designs </li><li>Modify and revise existing 3D drawings to correct operating deficiencies or to reduce production problems </li><li>Complete drawings and related paperwork for Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and Engineering Change Review (ECR) </li><li>Perform flow and stress analysis calculations for various product applications </li><li>Perform other related tasks to achieve engineering department success as requested </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience: 2 - 5 years' experience as a draftsperson in a related field </li><li>Education: Associates degree in mechanical engineering or engineering technology preferred but not required </li><li>Working knowledge SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD system required </li><li>Experience with fluid power or fluid control systems are a plus </li><li>Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports </li><li>Understands GD&T symbols and can demonstrate competency </li><li>Detail oriented </li><li>Strong technical writing skills </li><li>Is a critical thinker and can tackle complex problems </li><li>Demonstrates good judgement and decision-making capability </li></ul> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Competitive salary commensurate on experience </li><li>Generous paid time off plan and 10 paid holidays </li><li>401k match up to 6% </li><li>Major medical, dental and vision insurance, as well as company-paid Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance </li><li>Education Reimbursement program </li></ul>
