<p>COMPANY OVERVIEW</p> <p>Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America's oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation and the growth of resilient cities.</p> <p>Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and pursue a growth strategy across the region.</p> <p>The newly listed company will become North America's leading building solutions company, with industry-leading market position to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced building solutions from foundation to rooftop.</p> <p>ABOUT THE ROLE</p> <p>The Terminal Operator safely operates all equipment at the location used to load and unload rail cars, boats and/or trucks, ensuring order accuracy and expeditious processing of requests.</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH</p> <ul> <li>Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas. </li><li>Practice and promote safety in such way as including but not limited to; assessing risks before starting tasks, only performing authorized activities, utilizing appropriate PPE. </li><li>Maintain grounds, offices, warehouse, yard, etc. </li><li>Carry out tasks related to loading/unloading material, both bulk and bagged, for rail, waterway, and road methods of transportation, as appropriate for the specific location. </li><li>Understand and operate truck loading equipment. </li><li>Operate and conduct general maintenance on mobile equipment and assist with general mechanical maintenance. </li><li>Sample product from trucks and barges following company policies. </li><li>Maintain accurate maintenance records on all terminal equipment. </li><li>Perform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipments and inventory records. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</p> <p>Education: High School diploma/GED</p> <p>Field of Study Preferred:</p> <p>Required Work Experience: Basic knowledge about computers, Microsoft Office and SAP</p> <p>Travel Requirements: 0%</p> <p>Additional Requirments: Experience with customer service and equipment operation and maintenance. A good understanding of the basics of the cement manufacturing process or logistics is preferred.
