<p>Food & Beverage Manager</p> <p>Business Unit: The Peninsula New York</p> <p>Location: New York</p> <p>The Peninsula New York is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager that will ensure that the operations in the dining outlets and room service run smoothly and efficiently. In this role the Food & Beverage Manager will be responsible for our guests to have an enjoyable dining experience and that maximum profitability is achieved.</p> <p>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee Food & Beverage operation in each outlet, ensuring that all staff provide personalized, friendly, and efficient service. </li><li>Play an active role in the department having heavy interaction with guests and providing guidance and support for staff. </li><li>Handle all guest feedback and resolve any concerns before guests depart the hotel. </li><li>Ensure that liquor is served responsibly, and that laws and regulations are followed. </li><li>Ensure that all areas in the outlets are well maintained, clean, neat, and up to par always. </li><li>Conduct regular briefings to review daily specials, staff understanding of the menu items, serving technique or special handling and uniform/grooming/Peninsula image inspection. </li><li>Work closely with Culinary and F&B Management to develop ideas, continue to evolve, increase revenue, and profit margins. </li><li>Assist in training all staff members on standards, procedures, new products, and up-selling techniques. </li><li>Lead by example and ensure that Peninsula's standards and Code of Conduct expectations are being met. </li></ul> <p>GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management preferred </li><li>Food & Beverage experience in a luxury hotel or restaurant environment </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities and demonstrate appropriate prioritization skills </li><li>Able to work with minimal supervision in a responsible and responsive manner </li><li>Strong leadership and motivational skills </li></ul> <p>We are delighted to receive your resume for further consideration.
