<p>The Engineering Technician I will provide technical support for the installation and routing of shipboard electronic systems and cabling infrastructure aboard the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75). This role is focused on supporting senior technicians with site preparation, cable pulling, and basic hardware mounting during the RCOH availability.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the routing and pulling of cables through designated shipboard transit systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in basic terminations and the labeling of cable runs under supervision.</p> </li><li> <p>Help with the transport and mechanical mounting of hardware, foundations, and racks.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure work sites are clear of debris and compliant with shipyard safety regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist EA Tech II and III personnel with site preparation and material staging.</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education: High School Diploma or GED.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an industrial, construction, or maritime setting.</p> </li><li> <p>Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a Public Trust.</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred Certifications: Maritime OSHA 10-Hour, NAVSEA Cableway Certification.</p> </li><li> <p>Technical Skills: Familiarity with basic hand/power tools and the ability to work in physically demanding shipyard environments.</p> </li></ul> <p>Desired Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>An active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher that is an asset. </li></ul> <p>Job ID</p> <p>2026-21813</p> <p>Work Type</p> <p>On-Site</p> <p>Company Description</p> <p>Work Where it Matters</p> <p>Truestone, an Akima company, is not just another federal lifecycle solutions contractor.
