As an administrator and a clinician, the employee must be able to function independently as well as part of a team; prioritize and manage numerous assignments at one time; assist with program development; provide clinical and programmatic supervision, guidance and leadership. Administrative duties include budget development and oversight, staffing schedules, and business analytics.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Behavioral Health Team</p> </li><li> <p>LCSW required</p> </li><li> <p>Master's degree required</p> </li><li> <p>5 yrs related experience with 3 of those in a leadership role required</p> </li><li> <p>Full-time (40 hrs/wk)</p> </li></ul> <p>#AC2025</p> <p>Required Education:</p> <p>Master's Degree</p> <p>Recommended Education:</p> <p>Required Work Experience:</p> <p>Related Field - 5 years with 3 years of leadership experience</p> <p>Recommended Work Experience:</p> <p>Social Work - 2 years Medical or Pediatric Social Work excperience</p> <p>Required Certifications:</p> <p>LCSW - Arkansas Social Work Licensing Board</p> <p>Recommended Certifications:</p> <p>Academy of Certified Social Worker - National Associaton of Social Workers</p> <p>Description</p> <ol> <li> <p>Assists with oversight of day-to-day operations within the Social Work Services departments providing clinical supervision of staff.</p> </li><li> <p>Assists with the development of policies, procedures and budgets for all departments.</p> </li><li> <p>Full authority for personnel actions including hiring, performance evaluations, performance improvement, team building, delegating, scheduling, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides thorough and independent clinical assessments and recommendations/interventions using a biopsychosocial model and ecological approach, integrating social determinants of health and trauma informed care to determine the needs of AC's diverse, multicultural population.</p> </li><li> <p>Devises and implements appropriate therapeutic interventions and plans for patients and families that are comprehensive and outcome focused. Interventions reflect acknowledgement of age specific issues, barriers to care and cultural issues. (e.g. counseling, therapy techniques, age appropriate resources, etc.). Interventions in child maltreatment cases demonstrate comprehension of hospital policies, child abuse laws and legal statutes.</p> </li><li> <p>Makes independent decisions by utilizing information available and documents assessment according to department guidelines.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents barriers to compliance or treatment recommendations, current status of patient and family's knowledge regarding medical or psychiatric condition, emotional needs and community/family resources.</p> </li><li> <p>Documents continued reassessment of provision of social work services if plan indicates ongoing social work follow-up.</p> </li><li> <p>Transitions cases appropriately (including arranging for follow-up of identified social issues and indicates in documentation of appropriate plans if needed).</p> </li><li> <p>Actively participates in problem-solving strategies related to patient care.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties assigned.</p> </li></ol>
