<p>Job Description</p> <p>Dock Workers are responsible for loading and unloading trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo, moving cargo, driving a forklift, or using a pallet jack or other freight for transit. Effectively and efficiently operating mobile technology and completing all required paperwork.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Effectively operate mobile technology. </li><li>Move cargo, drive a forklift or use a pallet jack or other freight handling equipment. </li><li>Load and unload trailers for the purpose of transporting a wide variety of cargo. </li><li>Prepare wide varieties of freight for transit. </li><li>Actual duties and schedule may vary depending on terminal location. </li><li>Complete all required paperwork. </li><li>Equipment - Preventive Maintenance Program for all ABF equipment. </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Additional Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>This is a casual position and employee must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and on an as-needed basis. </li><li>Minimum 18 years of age. </li><li>Have a stable work record. </li><li>Have a good safety record. </li><li>Be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and post-offer company physical. </li><li>Shift days and hours required for this position vary by location and may include days, nights, and/or weekends.
