<p>Description</p> <p>Job Title: FICC Python Developer</p> <p>Duration: 18 Month W2 Contract</p> <p>Location:Jersey City</p> <p>Required Pay Scale:$63-$73/hour</p> <p>The candidate would be responsible for building and maintaining software written in Python within the internal trading platform environment. Responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li>Work with Business Analysts understand user requirements and to implement solutions to deliver data to internal Bank consumers using our existing frameworks. </li><li>Use Python APIs, user-facing UI tools and SQL to understand data related to populations, valuations, and risk sensitivities across the range of financial instruments and businesses within Traded Products. </li><li>Leverage Python, Sandra (no-SQL DB), AMPS (messaging) to build components in our stack. </li></ul> <p>The Zinc platform is the Authorized Data Store for Traded Products and houses a multi-year online repository of Trades, Positions and Risk. We load more than 6 billion rows into our Exadata platform daily. We provide data critical to many aspects of the Firm's activities including Trading & Risk Management as well as middle office, back office, and regulatory reporting</p> <p>Primary Skill</p> <p>Python</p> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>Candidate must have experience in Python, Java or C++ and some knowledge of SQL is helpful. Python is preferred but other experience can be considered.</p> <p>Candidate must have a B.S./B.A. In Computer Science or similar degree and knowledge of data structures and algorithms</p> <p>Candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in a role developing software.</p> <p>Candidate must have experience other than Java EE and client side JavaScript.</p> <p>Desired Skills</p> <p>Experience with SQL</p> <p>Experience with UNIX or Linux</p> <p>TDD/Agile methodology</p> <p>Experience in Institutional Finance IT (risk generation, risk reporting, trade capture, etc.)</p> <p>About Matlen Silver</p> <p>Experience Matters.
