<p>Job Title: Medical Assistant - Women's Health</p> <p>Women's Health clinic in DTLA is looking for a medical assistant to join their team to support the back office! MA diploma is required. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain extensive back office experience! 6 MONTHS - 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!</p> <p>WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:</p> <ul> <li>Gain experience in a fast-paced environment, supporting Women's Health and OBGYN </li><li>Back Office experience </li><li>Extensive training program with opportunity for growth </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li>Bilingual in Spanish </li><li>MA diploma </li><li>Willing to learn and train within the back office </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Room patients and obtain vital signs </li><li>Prepare patients for examinations and procedures </li><li>Assist providers with clinical procedures as needed </li><li>Perform EKGs, injections, and blood draws (as applicable) </li><li>Update and maintain accurate patient records in the EMR </li><li>Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow </li><li>Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment </li><li>Provide excellent customer service and patient support </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Certified Medical Assistant preferred (or completion of an MA program) </li><li>Knowledge of basic clinical procedures and medical terminology </li><li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting </li><li>Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus </li></ul> <p>Job Type & Location</p> <p>This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA 90015.</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
