Include people. </li></ul> <p>Position Overview:</p> <p>The purpose of this position is to perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance, vehicles and equipment, and minor Facility repairs at the City Services Building. The Shop/Building Attendant will be responsible for other duties as assigned by the Public Works Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent, or the Assistant Superintendent of Fleet</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Perform basic automotive and equipment maintenance and repairs </li><li>Assist fleet maintenance personnel and mechanics with routine and high-scope projects </li><li>Conduct oil and filter changes; wash and clean vehicles and equipment </li><li>Visually inspect vehicles nightly for repairs and maintenance needs </li><li>Check and address fluid levels (oil, anti-freeze, hydraulic) and tire conditions </li><li>Secure City Services Building, outbuildings, and vehicles nightly </li><li>Monitor, clean, and inspect oil drop-off centers and daily fuel system operations </li><li>Pick up parts and receive deliveries as needed </li><li>Record and document fleet mileage bi-monthly </li><li>Change and document tires when necessary </li><li>Perform janitorial tasks in shop, office, and restroom areas </li><li>Assist with maintenance of building mechanical systems (e.g., changing filters) </li><li>Communicate with supervisors, coworkers, citizens, and vendors </li><li>Maintain regular attendance and respond to emergency call-ins </li><li>Complete other Public Works and maintenance/shop tasks as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Requires a high school diploma  </li><li>Experience:  1 to 3 years of schooling and experience in automotive servicing </li><li>Other:·  A valid Wisconsin commercial driver's license is required with minimum class B and Class N (tanker) endorsement </li><li>Minimum Class C Underground Storage Tank certificate within 6 months of hire </li></ul> <p>Salary and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Salary Range: 49.411.50- $59,113.60 depending on experience.</p> </li><li> <p>Salary range reflects base to midpoint of the pay scale.  Offers above midpoint require Council approval. </p> </li><li> <p>The City of Neenah offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:</p> </li><li> <p>Health, dental, and life insurance.</p> </li><li> <p>Participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).</p> </li><li> <p>Paid holidays, sick leave, and vacation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Application Process: Interested candidates should submit an online application as soon as possible.  The position will remain open until filled</p> <p>Supplemental Information: The City of Neenah is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
