We are seeking applicants for full-and part- time opportunities, including the possibility of per-diem work. We are looking for exceptional radiologists who value high quality, timely patient care, but also desire flexibility in the timing and location of their shifts. We have multiple openings at this time, inclusive of weekday, evening, weekend, and night work. We have a highly competitive clinical compensation scheme that offers extra compensation (or more free time) for working off-hours or higher volume work. Inclusive of the following sections (most modalities for each section):</p> <ul> <li>Abdominopelvic imaging </li><li>Musculoskeletal imaging </li><li>Thoracic imaging </li><li>Cardiac/Cardiovascular imaging </li><li>PET/CT imaging </li><li>Emergency/Trauma imaging </li><li>Pediatric Imaging </li><li>Neuro Imaging Off-hours hospitalist imaging (chest and abdominal imaging on inpatients) </li></ul> <p>In all sections, you would be invited to participate in peer-review conferences, and section meetings. You would not have committee or clinical case conference obligations, although you would be invited to attend at your choice.</p> <p>Your responsibilities are to the imaging interpretation and will spend de minimis time on non-interpretive work (which will remain at the physical location of the image acquisition). You would not be responsible for resident or medical student teaching, though opportunities to engage in either or both could be made available on a case-by-case basis.</p> <p>Your effort will be determined on a section-by-section basis, typically defined by a number of cases or coverage of a specific window of time. Individuals may qualify for additional compensation based on interpreting above and beyond thresholds.</p> <p>Faculty appointment in the voluntary clinical track may be available depending on your prior expertise and experience.</p> <p>Required Skills and Abilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Proficiency in using teleradiology software and systems.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.</p> </li><li> <p>Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</p> </li></ol> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <p>Principal Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Review and interpret diagnostic images, including X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, ultrasounds, and nuclear medicine studies.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide detailed written reports on imaging findings and diagnostic conclusions.</p> </li><li> <p>Consult with referring physicians to discuss diagnostic results and offer recommendations for further imaging or treatment.</p> </li><li> <p>Use teleradiology systems and software to efficiently receive, review, and transmit imaging studies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation using electronic health records (EHRs).</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to radiology best practices and clinical guidelines to ensure patient safety and high-quality care.</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities to enhance imaging services.</p> </li><li> <p>Stay updated on advancements in radiologic technology and new diagnostic procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations and other relevant legal and ethical standards.</p> </li></ol> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <p>Doctor of Medicine (MD) from an accredited medical school; Completion of a radiology residency. Experience with various imaging modalities and the ability to accurately interpret complex images.</p> <p>Required Licenses and Certifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>Board certification (or board eligibility) in radiology by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Valid medical license in the state(s) where services are provided.</p> </li></ol> <p>Preferred Education and Experience</p> <p>Subspecialty fellowship training in an area such as neuroradiology, musculoskeletal radiology, or pediatric radiology; Prior experience in a remote or teleradiology setting; Familiarity with different PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) platforms and IT workflows in radiology.</p> <p>Background Check Requirements</p> <p>All candidates for employment will be subject to pre-employment background screening for this position, which may include motor vehicle, DOT certification, drug testing and credit checks based on the position description and job requirements.
