<p>Summary</p> <p>The Student Organization Center clerical position supports the functional areas of Student Development which includes housing, activities, orientation and organizations, as well as the Office of the Dean of Students and the Vice President for Student Life.</p> <p>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Greets visitors and guests to the office;assiststhose attending meetings with professional staff; </li><li>Providesassistancewith informationregardingprograms and events; </li><li>Performsclerical tasks such as copying, filing, scanning, andpreparingdocuments; </li><li>Answers phones and directs callers toappropriate staffmembers; </li><li>Becomes familiar with the University policies, procedures, and general information to assist with inquiries; </li><li>Uses software which support department operations such as eRezLife (housing), Canva (event marketing) and The Den (student organizations); </li><li>Assists with special projects and assignments within the Division of Student Life; </li><li>Runs errands throughout the University; represents the office in a professional and courteous manner when visiting offices on campus; </li><li>Follows procedures when handling petty cash requests; </li><li>Performs related duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY</p> <p>Must be Federal Work Study Eligible</p> <p>Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter</p> <ul> <li>Some knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; Good organizational skills; </li><li>Ability to communicate clearly and effectively. </li></ul> <p>Additional Expectations</p> <p>We inspire success by working together to provide meaningful, personalized service in a spirit of excellence.
