<p>The Public Health Educator plays a vital role in improving community health through the design, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based health education and promotion strategies. Under the general supervision of the Public Health Supervisor, the Public Health Educator works to reduce risk factors, prevent disease, and promote wellness among diverse populations across Muskegon County.</p> <p>This position actively participates in community coalitions, builds partnerships, and develops educational content that addresses the root causes of morbidity, mortality, and environmental health challenges. The Public Health Educator collaborates with public, private, civic, and volunteer organizations to advance shared health goals and build healthier communities.1.
