If you applied previously, you must apply again to be considered.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Provides instruction in basic fundamental of building maintenance (e.g., plumbing, electrical, masonry, carpentry, roofing, and drywall repair) and individual assistance </li><li>Assesses educational needs of inmates </li><li>Develops lesson plans to address those needs to include individual assignments and training. </li><li>Administers, scores, and interprets examinations and proficiency indicators. </li><li>Maintains discipline and/or security </li><li>Counsels' students concerning their performance, behavior and/or personal problems. </li><li>Attends meetings as required </li><li>Prepares required records and reports (e.g., enrollment, grades, student progress) </li><li>Inventories and orders supplies and materials needed </li><li>Researches, selects, and recommends new teaching materials. </li><li>Attends in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development, performs other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Must meet eligibility requirements for Teacher Certificate/License appropriate for career-tech - building maintenance & grade level as assigned*; Teacher 1, 71361, must also have baccalaureate degree or less per OEA agreement.
