<p>Please fill out our application with as much detail as possible.</p> <p>Mission Statement: Unlocking potential while protecting your most critical assets.</p> <p>Core Values: Care Trust Help (C.T.H.)</p> <p>Summary of Position</p> <p>The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and financial performance of projects ranging from $20,000 to $2,000,000 in value. Projects include industrial coatings, roofing, mechanical restoration, and Commercial/Industrial air handling and HVAC system upgrades and equipment restoration.</p> <p>This role owns job cost control, profit protection, subcontractor coordination, production tracking, and project reporting. The Project Manager partners closely with onsite supervision and internal teams-including purchasing, safety, and logistics - to ensure an efficient, well-coordinated project delivery that meets quality, safety, and customer expectations.</p> <p>For mechanical and HVAC-related projects, the Project Manager oversees inspection, shutdown, repair, commissioning, and system integration activities while ensuring compliance with site-specific mechanical, electrical, and control standards. The role requires effective coordination of multiple trades to maintain schedule continuity, safety, and quality across complex, multi-phase industrial projects.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Partner with estimators and field leadership to plan, schedule, and execute project work, including developing detailed work plans, production tracking, and progress monitoring. </li><li>Manage overall project financial performance, including budget maintenance, cost forecasting, profit protection, and identification/execution of change order opportunities. </li><li>Coordinate project activities across internal departments (purchasing, safety, logistics) to ensure proper staffing, material availability, and operational readiness. </li><li>Lead and facilitate pre-job, progress, and post-job meetings; document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement. </li><li>Maintain accurate, complete, and current project documentation, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company standards. </li><li>Understand and manage project contract terms, conditions, constraints, and risk exposure; proactively mitigate potential issues. </li><li>Serve as the primary communication link between Engineering Services, customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables. </li><li>Coordinate sequencing and workflow among multiple trades, including mechanical, electrical, controls, rigging, air balancing, and related subcontractors. </li><li>Communicate scope, schedule, and cost changes clearly to all stakeholders and ensure proper documentation and approval. </li><li>Build and maintain strong customer relationships; collaborate with Account Managers to establish clear client interface protocols and enhance customer satisfaction. </li><li>Visit job sites regularly to support field leaders, monitor safety and quality, and reinforce customer confidence. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and applicable local, state, and federal regulations. </li><li>Demonstrate solid technical knowledge of Commercial/Industrial HVAC systems, including air handling (supply and recirculation), mechanical and electrical components, building management systems (BMS), fire protection interlocks, and required safety procedures such as LOTO and confined space protocols. </li><li>Proactively identify and resolve project issues to maintain schedule continuity, quality standards, and safe execution. </li><li>Ability to travel overnight up to 25% </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and/or relevant project management experience will be considered </li><li>3-5 years of progressively responsible project management experience preferred </li><li>Proficiency in estimating and project management software, as well as Microsoft Office </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, contractors, field personnel, and executive leadership. </li><li>Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail. </li><li>Working knowledge of project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and basic accounting principles. </li><li>Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate, prioritize, and manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously. </li></ul> <p>Niles Industrial Coatings is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against applicants due to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, creed, marital status or parental status, height, weight, citizenship status, arrest record, disability, genetic information, military or veterans' status or any other legally protected status by federal, state, or local law.</p>
