<p>Description</p> <p>The Associate Completions Coordinator will be responsible for planning, leading and/or implementation of construction project completions and commissioning of a variety of facilities, including commercial and industrial installations. This position will be responsible for the tracking and testing of various facilities and completions documentation and verifications ensuring alignment with project contractual requirements. The Associate Completions Coordinator will lead teams of multiple people in the execution of Completions and Commissioning.</p> <ul> <li> <p>Responsible for audits of contractual specification for completion and commissioning requirements of projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for creating, verifying and finalizing turnover boundaries and turnover packages.</p> </li><li> <p>Lead teams in tracking, reporting and turnover documentation of projects and ensure field teams understand and implement the tools according to specifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Review, plan and communicate vendor requirements with personnel performing commissioning efforts on client projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for developing and implementing commissioning and startup plans for client projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for reviewing plans provided by other department members for various projects.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for ensuring satisfactory implementation by field teams during execution of completion and commissioning plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for accept/reject verifications of construction status and completion on equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for overall inspection of installed devices and completion of field required setup and verifications.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for leading checkout, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases of project efforts by addressing problems and routine requirements of equipment and devices.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for leading the process of maintaining proper documentation to ensure activities are being followed in order to support Burns & McDonnell's record-keeping and reporting requirements, including turnover documentation.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for leading the Assistant and Staff level personnel in activities required by the Completions and Commissioning department.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for leading projects for Completions and Commissioning, including proposal support.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure understanding of various testing equipment operation processes and procedures as well as logical controllers and field control systems (PLCs) as integrated in startup procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for oversight of project work activities for mechanical: piping, rotating equipment, stationary equipment, steel, welding, rigging, insulation, heat trace, paint, hydrostatic testing, fire protection and coatings. For electrical activities: installation, conduit, cable pulls, relay testing, substation, terminations. All as applicable per job skill set of individual.</p> </li><li> <p>Responsible for meeting requirements as a Mechanical or Electrical Superintendent.</p> </li><li> <p>Adhere to and promote company and site safety policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs other duties as assigned</p> </li><li> <p>Complies with all policies and standards</p> </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li> <p>High School Diploma/GED and 17 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience Required or</p> </li><li> <p>Associate Degree Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field and 15 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience Required or</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor Degree Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field and 13 years of Completions and/or Commissioning experience Required</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient in Bluebeam and cloud based software.</p> </li></ul> <p>This job posting will remain open a minimum of 72 hours and on an ongoing basis until filled.</p> <p>EEO/Disabled/Veterans</p> <p>Job Construction Services</p> <p>Primary Location US-PA-Reading</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time</p> <p>Travel: Yes, 75 % of the Time</p> <p>Req ID: 254481</p> <p>Job Hire Type Experienced #LI-ME #CDB N/A</p>
