If so, Let's work together!</p> <p>About the Role</p> <p>The Field Engineer Intern is responsible for aiding assistance to more senior staff (Project Managers, Superintendents) in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of a projects in Montrose and Parshall area. This is a task-based role that requires working knowledge of core elements of construction projects (field management, estimating, project management).</p> <p>As a Field Engineer Intern at Moltz, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Perform a variety of duties including but not limited to administrative duties, update schedules and budgets, maintain cost control, and monitor labor material and equipment activities on the project </li><li>Work with Project Managers/on-site Superintendent to update project schedule and budget to identify potential construction issues </li><li>Attend all project team meetings, and document team meetings, action items, and other pertinent project deliverables/decisions </li><li>Monitor project change management process, identify change events, submit change notices, track changes and optional changes in project scope, and present to the Project Manager when required </li><li>Assist with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions and change orders </li><li>Support Project Manager and Superintendent with creating templates and supporting documents on behalf of project team regarding roles and responsibilities </li><li>Record change orders and update site drawings </li><li>Monitor payroll functions, cost accruals and reviews on a regular basis </li><li>Maintain QA/QC and Safety records </li><li>Review the Field Surveillance Reports (FSR) and initiate NCRs based on analysis and severity of findings </li></ul> <p>Qualifications & Experience:</p> <ul> <li>In progress Trade Certification or Technical Diploma/Degree in Engineering or related field experience is required. </li><li>2-3 years construction experience is a plus </li><li>Strong presentation skills. </li><li>Proficient with MS Office Suite. </li><li>Proficient using scheduling and project management software </li></ul> <p>Compensation and Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>Hourly rate: $35-$45/ hour </li><li>On the job training and rapid career advancement for those with the drive and skill set </li></ul> <p>If this sounds like you, then Moltz Construction Inc. may be the right fit.
