We offer a full range of mental and behavioral health services, foster care and social services, housing, continuing adult education and early childhood education programs to Medi-Cal eligible individuals and families throughout Alameda, Contra Costa, Fresno, Kings, Los Angeles, Madera, Orange, Placer, Riverside, Sacramento, San JOB SUMMARY The Senior Integration Engineer is primarily responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining robust and scalable integration solutions that connect various enterprise applications and data sources within Pacific Clinics' technology ecosystem. This role ensures seamless data flow and process automation across critical systems, with a strong focus on application integration, API development, and the utilization of cloud platforms and data services. The Senior Integration Engineer will also play a key role in integrating machine learning capabilities into existing and new applications to enhance organizational insights and efficiency. This position requires deep technical expertise and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions that support the organization's strategic goals and enhance service delivery. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES <ul> <li>Design, develop, and implement complex integration solutions using middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. </li><li>Develop and manage APIs for internal and external consumption, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. </li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications. </li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues, optimizing existing integration flows for efficiency and reliability. </li><li>Work with various data sources (Oracle, SQL Server) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to facilitate seamless data exchange. </li><li>Integrate machine learning models and outputs into existing application workflows and data pipelines. </li><li>Utilize cloud-native integration services (e.g., AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Pub/Sub) to build scalable and resilient solutions. </li><li>Ensure data quality and integrity across integrated systems, including data mapping and transformation. </li><li>Develop and maintain integrations with the Salesforce platform, including leveraging Salesforce APIs and custom development when necessary. </li><li>Design and implement API endpoints for consuming and exposing data from various cloud platforms and data services. </li><li>Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirement gathering, development, acceptance testing, and feature release. </li><li>Performs other related responsibilities, as assigned, to support specific department/business needs. </li><li>Coordinate the administration and maintenance of integration applications. </li><li>Support integration-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals. </li><li>Participate in meetings with users and stakeholders to understand and document their needs to provide solutions using integration technologies. </li><li>Implement enhancements and configure integration platforms to meet specific organizational needs. </li><li>Provide ongoing support and training materials to ensure staff can effectively utilize integrated systems and data. </li><li>Create reports and understand the data needs across the agency, ensuring efficient data exchange between systems. </li><li>Coordinate development and maintenance of integration applications and features with vendors and consultants. </li><li>Consider data protection regulations when developing solutions to maintain system security. </li></ul> JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES <ul> <li>Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. </li><li>High level of organization and attention to detail. </li><li>Strong analytical skills for process optimization </li><li>Change management experience with the ability to drive system adoption across an organization. </li><li>Proven leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional and technical teams </li></ul> QUALIFICATIONS <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in an IT technical field or commensurate experience in lieu of degree. </li><li>Minimum of (6) six or more years of experience in software engineering, with at least three years specializing in application integration and API development. </li><li>Proven experience with project management, business analysis, and software development. </li><li>Extensive experience with MuleSoft and application integration and customization. </li><li>MuleSoft certifications, such as MuleSoft Associate, MuleSoft Developer I, MuleSoft Developer II, and Salesforce Hyperautomation Specialist. </li><li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. </li><li>Comprehension of business systems and processes. </li><li>Ability to work independently with appropriate guidance. </li><li>Appropriate knowledge of key Salesforce products including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, App Cloud, Experience Cloud, Health Cloud, Non-Profit Cloud, Einstein Copilot and AgentForce. </li><li>Healthcare or Healthcare Technology experience is highly recommended. </li><li>Be willing to step in and perform a variety of tasks to support projects as needed. </li><li>Understanding technical jargon and translating it for non-technical stakeholders. </li><li>Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data services (Oracle Database, SQL Server). </li><li>Experience integrating machine learning solutions. </li></ul> PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to stand or sit.
