<p>Job Description</p> <p>Under light supervision, creates evaluations and designs of basic to moderate complexity civil pipeline/conveyance or process mechanical projects including water and wastewater treatment facilities, water distribution systems, sanitary sewer and storm sewer systems, lead service line projects, pump stations, remediation sites, etc.</p> <p>May perform water quality analyses or system modeling.</p> <p>Performs calculations, data analysis, reporting for drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utility related projects including collection systems, drainage, flood management, outfalls, wetlands, stormwater management, sewer rehabilitation, etc.</p> <p>Performs site reviews and studies, as needed, to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications; updates design requirements as necessary.</p> <p>Prepares technical specifications and front-end contract documents for publicly bid design projects.</p> <p>Reviews draft designs and reports for compliance with federal, state and local regulations and signs off on completed designs.</p> <p>Contributes to regulatory compliance programs specifically including lead and copper and/or stormwater/MS4 related projects.</p> <p>Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs.</p> <p>Manages assessment and design activities in client-facing role, with ability to function as Task Manager.</p> <p>May submit technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals.</p> <p>Provides technical guidance and training to more junior staff.</p> <p>Reviews the work of more junior staff and develops them for future growth within the discipline and firm.</p> <p>Performs other duties as required.</p> <p>Employment Type</p> <p>Regular</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental or Chemical Engineering or related discipline. 3 years of related experience. Domestic and/or international travel may be required. The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands. Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Registration as an Engineer-in-Training; Licensed Professional Engineer.</p>
