<p>The primary purpose of your job position is to assist the DSD in planning and implementing facility orientation,</p> <p>job skills training, In-service education as required by regulations.</p> <p>Essential Duties</p> <ul> <li>Receive and follow schedule/instructions from your supervisor and as outlined in our established </li></ul> <p>policies and procedures.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in organizing the orientation of new employees according to regulations which includes but is not </li></ul> <p>limited to philosophy and objectives of care, resident rights, safety, infection control and the policies and</p> <p>procedures of the facility.</p> <ul> <li>Assist the DSD in scheduling and organizing in-service Education programs. </li><li>Assist the DSD to maintain all required records. </li><li>Keys information into computer systems. </li><li>Ensure that in-services are scheduled timely and posted in designated areas. </li><li>Maintain current records of orientation and in-service attendance for each employee. </li><li>Maintain department records in a complete and orderly manner. </li><li>Assist in coordinating the safety program and scheduling pre-employment and current employee health </li></ul> <p>examinations and tests as directed.</p> <ul> <li>Document and/or coordinate all required Fire/Internal Disaster drills </li><li>Be courteous, considerate and cooperative when communicating with all facility personnel, residents </li></ul> <p>and public.</p> <ul> <li>Promote and maintain good public relations on behalf of the facility. </li><li>Advertise for available positions for the facility, as requested. </li><li>Provides information by answering questions and requests. </li><li>Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed </li></ul> <p>supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.</p> <ul> <li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. </li><li>Regular attendance and dependability. </li><li>May assist with HR and payroll duties. </li><li>Participate in facility surveys. </li><li>Develop and maintain a good working rapport with inter-department personnel, as well as other </li></ul> <p>departments within the facility.</p> <ul> <li>Assist in recording all incidents/accidents. File in accordance with established policies and procedures. </li><li>Agree not to disclose resident's protected health information and promptly report suspected or known </li></ul> <p>violations of such disclosure to the Administrator.</p> <ul> <li>Other duties as assigned by the supervisor/DON/Administrato </li></ul>
