If you can be a trusted advisor and executor of capital market and structure financing transactions, we want to know more about you!</p> <p>As a Director, you'll develop, recommend, implement and monitor the administration of policies and practices for Nationwide relating to a core treasury function such as cash management or banking services.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Leads the liquidity management process to assure that adequate sources of funds are available to meeting ongoing and extraordinary cash needs of the enterprise.</p> </li><li> <p>Directs, monitors and coordinates the ongoing cash management operations of the Treasury corporate center.</p> </li><li> <p>Crafts and maintains policies, procedures and compliance for all international operations into eh area of foreign exchange risk management and treasurer operational controls.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates, analyzes and negotiates cash management services offered by commercial banks and trust companies.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains credit compliance on enterprise debt, including payment of interest and principle</p> </li><li> <p>Leads the spread lending program, including maintenance of collateral, borrowings and contingent liquidity</p> </li><li> <p>Works closely with FIT on maintaining banking services for the business unit, including problem resolution for core systems related to banking services and Treasury.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures preparation and monitoring for various budgets/expenses related to banking fees, facility fees and custody fees.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensures completion of Banking Relationship Profiles for the major banking partners. Negotiates contracts with banking partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Leads the liaison between the business and the various banking partners.</p> </li><li> <p>Provides consultation on mergers and acquisitions.</p> </li><li> <p>Participates in due diligence on banking and custody relations, debt obligations and treasury control issues for acquiring or establishing new domestic and international entities.</p> </li><li> <p>Recommends, monitors, interprets and directs the administration of policies and practices related to assigned functional area.</p> </li><li> <p>Directs, monitors and administers long-range cash forecasting or banking relations activities.</p> </li><li> <p>Evaluates, analyzes and consults with regard to new and proposed policies effecting assigned functional areas, and those that impact related enterprise operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Leads associate management, including performance management, salary planning and administration, training and development, workflow and organizational planning, hiring and placement and disciplinary actions.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepares departmental operating budget and develops plan to achieves departmental objectives.</p> </li></ul> <p>May perform other responsibilities as assigned.</p> <p>Reporting Relationships: Reports to Vice President/Associate Vice President; manages a team of three or more Treasury Services professionals.</p> <p>Typical Skills and Experiences:</p> <p>Education: Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance, economics, banking, business administration or other related area.</p> <p>License/Certification/Designation: Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) and Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designations preferred. Insurance industry designation, such as CPCU or CLU, also desirable.</p> <p>Experience: Ten years of relevant experience in treasury, cash management and/or banking relations with six years in a strategic fiscal management and senior management level liaison capacity. Prefer experience in managing associates functioning in cash management and other treasury service roles.</p> <p>Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: In-depth knowledge of the banking industry, cash management techniques, and banking relations, policies and procedures. International funds transactions. Securities transactions and treasury policies/procedures. Outstanding interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with a wide variety of internal and external audiences and the banking community. Must be a strong relationship builder with the intellect and financial acuity to add to the leadership team.
